lyttlenatalie asked: what is a cookbook that you would recommend to start making and cooking with natural and organic ingredients?
My current favs are Great Chefs Cook Vegan, Candle 79 and everything in this section of my Amazon favs. The New Whole Foods Encyclopedia: A Comprehensive Resource For Healthy Eating is dope to have because it breaks nutrition down to you so you understand exactly what your body needs and why.
My favorite healthy eating site, Oh She Glows, has a dope cookbook coming out soon too! And I was told about this Afro-Vegan book coming out in April that seems incredible! Veganized African, Caribbean and southern comfort foods. Amazing!
I usually just type “healthy recipes” “organic recipes” (or whatever you’re looking for exactly!) on Amazon and surf through the reviews to find new goodies! Hope that helps <3
Natural Powdered Blush | Free People Blog
Continuing my obsession with natural beauty and makeup, here is something I didn’t think was possible - an all natural blush! I’ve made blush before but always used mica. Well this blush is made from…beetroot powder! There’s directions on how to dry out your own beetroot to turn into powder or you can purchase it (a quick Google search turned up about a million hits, I’m sure you can find it!). There’s some great tips on how to change up the color to suit your skin too.
