If you’re looking to heal old scars (not everyone wants or needs to), a mixture of any of these natural ingredients or even using them alone will be extremely helpful for skin regeneration! Not overnight, of course! Give yourself a good 3-6 months of diligent daily use to see a major difference.
My personal fav for the body? The bentonite clay, as seen on her leg (Aztec Healing Clay), mixed with Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera! Mix all three ingredients until it’s nice and muddy! Really dope. Exclude the Coconut Oil and add Vitamin E if the scar is on your face!
P.S. The true key to fading old scars is keeping the skin moisturized! If you don’t have any of these ingredients, at least make sure your skin is never dry! Moisture, moisture, moisture!
Q:Hi Fran, firstly your'e amazing and inspiring and whenever I feel myself slipping into bad habits I come to your page and I feel motivated again so thank you!! I have a question about facial skin care. I tried the OCM but it was too drying for my face so i now use Burts Bees and then oil to moisturise which has been great. Have you ever looked into using Rhassoul clay as a face mask ? I want to try it but I thought I'd get your advice first. Thanks girl and keep at it :)
Ahhh! That’s awesome to hear. Thank you for the inspiration :)
Rhassoul Clay is everything! I love it cause you can use it on both your skin and hair, which is always my favorite sign (of true health) when it comes to beauty products. It’s an amazing detox and moisturizer, for both. Naptural85 just recently posted a DIY Hair Cleanser using the clay! Check it out here.
Made raw & organic lip balm last night following HeyFranHey’s recipe - love the results! I’m allergic to Beeswax so had to tweak the ingredients a bit & also added a lil Peppermint flavor for taste - you can see everything I used & the final result at Suite7beautyTalk.com.
I see you used Candelilla Wax instead of Beeswax. That’s also a great alternative for Vegans! Glad you loved it <3
This is a Bentonite Clay treatment.
Bentonite Clay was historically used by Native Americans for purification and healing. This powdered clay can be used for masks, shaving or for oily hair and scalp.
Benefits of Bentonite Clay: (In oral preparations) Digestive disturbances like acid reflux, constipation, bloating, gas, etc (Kaolin clay was common ingredient in medicines like Maalox and Rolaids for years)

For all skin types and problems. Speeds healing.
If you are a natural it helps define your curls
It also reveals the length of your hair as you put it on.
You DON’T only have to be natural to use this it doesn’t matter what type of hair you have. Natural or relaxed hair, doesn’t matter. It cleans your hair better than shampoo!
I cosign all of this! And that brand is clean and great. I use the Aztec Healing Clay (sold at Whole Foods, too!) Video on how I use it on my hair here. Video on how I use it on my face here. Internal detox video coming soon! This powder is magic <3
Q:I took your advice on your hair regimine vid, and decided to wash my hair with conditioner instead of shampoo. It was great! A good detangle and wash at the same time, and I spent less time in the shower! I really want to try your oil cleansing vid for my face. Keep up the good work! -Missshantel1
That’s awesome to hear! Thank you for trying it <3 Glad it worked out for you and keep me posted on the Oil Cleansing!
Never posted a pic of my nail growth after doing the coconut oil nail challenge from heyfranhey so here it is. It definitely works!
Q:First let me say I LOVE YOU. You are so necessary. Seriously! Your tips are so very helpful and easy and changing our world. Thank you thank you thank you. My question is your advice on curing insomnia? I'm in college and cannot seem to get it together.
Thank you so much for the kindness :) Buy a bottle of Lavender Essential Oil (I grab mine from Whole Foods) and put 5 drops on your pillowcase. Make sure it’s the side you rest your face on. You can also place the drops on a wash cloth and insert it into your pillowcase (on the side you sleep on, as well). You will be amaaazed at how well it works. Completely cured my insomnia! Just don’t overdo it with the drops. Too many and you’ll be asleep for days! lol
