I had the awesome opportunity of presenting my perspective on The Oil Pulling Method on the channel 11 morning news earlier today. You’ll see the doctor was skeptical of the health benefits (as expected) but I stuck to my purpose which was to present the information as clearly and efficiently as possible; in hopes that viewers would give it a chance! What an awesome milestone for Hey Fran Hey! Thankful. And thank you for all of the incredible energy and sweet support while it was happening!

I was working on a music project the same summer I got really sick with kidney complications AND was going through an awful breakup. Right before my health plummeted, I recorded one last song (written by my best friend, Claude Kelly) as a way to not feel completely defeated.
^^This is the song/my voice above ^^
To think that what I viewed, at the time, as major failures (career, love, health all gone in one year) were actually my most life changing moments. Kelly Clarkson heard the song, loved it, bought it and made it a single. Fast forward to the future, my best friend is now a top writer in the music industry. And my illness and hospital stay affected me so deeply, that it opened my eyes to the world of healthcare. I spent the rest of that year reflecting, studying and healing. I became enchanted by my ability to reverse my illness on my own and by my spirit’s resilience in the face of multiple challenges. Who I am today is a culmination of my “failures”. Rock-bottom simply became a new foundation for me to build on.
Don’t try to be so controlling. A lot of us paint an exact picture of what life HAS to look like (the exact partner, the exact job, etc) in order to be happy. But that just opens you up to a world of heartache when things don’t go exactly as planned. Try being a little more fluid when it comes to changes, no matter how difficult it is to let go. Let life take you where you’re supposed to be. It may just be a way better plan than what you had in mind.
Now that you know my all-natural go-to post-workout smoothie (see previous post if you missed it) it’s time to put in the work. No waist training corsets, no sweat suits, no powders, no “fat blasting” pills, no shortcuts whatsoever. Just consistency, whole foods (grown on earth not in labs) and 2-3 liters of daily water! It may take a little longer and you may fall off the wagon sometimes but trust that you will get there 💫 Who’s with me on doing it all the natural way?
Love my girls!! @heyfranhey & @tarenguy we finished the panel! Woooo!!!! 🙌😝 #icanbreathenow (at Digitas/Maker)
