About 1.5 months ago I started rubbing coconut oil into my nails before bed. Thanks to heyfanhey!! It has worked wonders for these nails. They are hard as rocks and maintaining their length longer than they ever have! ThanksFranThankss! LOL
Q:Hi Fran, Are there any nail polish collections that are non toxic?
Hey :) This is actually what my next YouTube video is about! Discussing toxic free beauty products. It’s hard to find completely all-natural polishes (I’ve tried a few and they were a disaster!). The most you can do is look for (google) the “3 free” and “4 free” polish brands, meaning they have removed the top 3 and 4 hazardous chemicals found in most polish brands. More info on those toxins here. Some fav brands that come to mind: Zoya, Ginger & Liz , Nars, Butter London and the Wet & Wild polishes sold at your local drugstores! Hope that helps <3
The front and back of my new favorite Quelly Rue Design quote bracelets ($12 each). Helpful to read some positivity on a daily basis. And can we talk about the fact I cut down my claws 6 weeks ago and they’re back? Unrefined extra virgin coconut oil under your base coat when painting your nails. And a weekly (or daily) massage with the oil, too. Hydration = growth. Crazy how well that method works. A lot of you have tagged me to your claws so I’m glad everyone is trying it! (“Just Spotted The Lizard” polish by OPI)
Q:Hey Fran! Do you know of any all natural nail polish removers? I find that the typical acetone stuff (i.e. Sally Hansen, etc) is a bit drying on the nails and of course is chemical based. What do you use?
Hey! This one is my current fav! A way healthier option.
Dig into those office supplies and make some art! Isn’t it dope how easy it is? Don’t forget to let your nails dry 100% before adding the tape! P.S. The healthier brands of polish include Zoya, Ginger & Liz, Butter London and the newer OPI bottles. Do your research before buying cause some of these brands are way toxic. (Taken with Instagram)
