A trifecta of natural beauty products from Vitacost Organic honey for my face, tea and toast. Organic coconut oil for everything head-to-toe (hair, skin, oilpulling, cooking). Aztec Secret bentonite clay, also for everything head-to-toe (it’s AMAZING on hair AND skin!!). Anyone practice oil pulling? I’m trying it out thanks to Hey Fran Hey and @itsolivialane
I feel SUCH a difference in my body since using these products. The toothpaste was my first holistic switch. It’s so good that I forgot to brush my teeth twice last week because my breath was still fresh from the night before. Embarrassing, yes, but if I can’t tell that I didn’t brush my teeth until hours later… That’s some damn good toothpaste.
Second purchase was the soap. I read lots of reviews on this soap and at first I was skeptical on paying so much for it, but my grocery store had the smaller size in stock vs the largest size I found at Walgreens and I saved myself $10. I got tea tree oil scent because E and I have skin conditions that require extra attention (eczema) and I read that tea tree oil is good for healing up skin sores. The soap itself is organic, all natural, and fair trade. The bottle is post consumer recycled product as well. Extra points for Dr. Bronner.
Lastly, coconut oil. I have been wanting to jump on this bandwagon for a good year now and I finally broke down and bought some along with the soap. Holy fuck I smell amazing and my skin feels incredible. I am a little oily, but I think in the morning I’ll be fine. I don’t think I can moisturize more than once a day with it, but at night after a shower feels good so that’s what I’m going to go with.
I like getting fresh and clean with all natural ingredients. I don’t like harsh chemicals. Thank you heyfranhey for inspiring me to make the conversion to holistic health and beauty!
Ahh! This is beyond awesome!!! Thank you for sharing with us <3
I thought thyme was only used to spice up the flavor in food while cooking, until the other day, when I developed this dry cough and my aunt enlightened me about the usage of thyme; just thought I’d share some of the benefits of using thyme with you!
Cures cold: Thyme contains antiseptic and antibiotic properties that make it a great remedy when you have a cold, cough or sore throat. According to a study, the herb is known to treat bronchitis and coughs. A cup of thyme tea is recommended for those with colds.
Improves vision: Rich in Vitamin A that is a fat-soluble vitamin and an antioxidant essential for healthy mucus membranes and skin, thyme promotes healthy vision.
Cures acne: Due to its antibacterial properties, thyme is often used in acne creams and face washes.
Prevents hair loss: When combined with other herbs and used as an essential oil, thyme can strengthen the roots of your hair and improve its growth.
Controls blood pressure levels: This herb contains an aqueous extract that can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive situations.
Improves bone health: Since this is a good source of Vitamin K, iron, calcium and manganese, thyme can improve your bone’s health. These essential nutrients aid in the growth of bones and reduce the risk of bone-related diseases.
Aids digestion: Experts often recommend thyme tea to those suffering from indigestion and bloating. The oils in thyme can provide relief from intestinal cramping.

I’m working on eating healthier. Especially snacking healthier. I can cut back a lot but when it comes to my sugar craving, that’s when things go haywire.
I found this idea to make Peanut Butter Granola snacks via this link you posted and gave it a try.
Ingredients include granola, dried cranberries, honey, peanut butter, and I decided to throw in some flaxseed as well.
It is SO fulfilling. I eat one, no more than two balls, at a time and it completely takes care of my sweet tooth. Thank you so much!

Listen. LISTEN. Can we talk about how a company that features a lot of waif like looking girls is the ONLY one to make jeans that fit both my waist and badonk at the same damn time. AT THE SAME DAMN TIME.
Yes! So dope you scooped a pair!
If you’re curvy and having trouble finding affordable jeans that don’t give you a baggy crotch or that open gap in the back, these are perfect.
Hey Francheska! Thanks again for help with the ACV method. It’s been 2 months now and I have NO MORE dry winter hair! My curls have life again and my wash and go’s last much much longer. My video/thanks to you is up on YouTube. Check it out if you get a chance, thanks again! XOXO http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFNJwcAq-M9UEdC5j4RTgyg
